Terms of use
These terms set out the plain arrangement between you and pixelpolku when you open one of the games. There is not much to agree to, because there is not much on offer: three free games and a page or two around them.

By opening and using this site, you agree to the terms below. If any of them do not sit right with you, the fix is simple: do not use the site. We may adjust these terms as the site changes, and the version on this page is always the one that applies.
01What the site is
pixelpolku is a free-to-play social game: a small set of reel games that run in your browser for entertainment. They cost nothing and are not for sale. There is no purchase to make, no real money involved and no prize to win; the points, experience and levels you earn are cosmetic only and have no value outside the game. It is a place to spend a few minutes, and it is offered in that spirit.
02Using the site
You may use pixelpolku for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial enjoyment, and you must be of legal age in your own region to do so. That is the whole of the permission: open the games, play them, and come back if you feel like it. Because everything is free and nothing is bought, there is no order to place and no subscription to manage on either side.
03Your account
You can make an optional account to have the site remember your name. That account is stored in your own browser's local storage rather than on a server we run, so you are responsible for the device and browser it sits in. There is no password held anywhere for us to reset, and clearing your browser data for this site removes the account entirely. Keeping your device secure is the practical way to keep the account private, since that is where it lives.
04Fair use of the site
Use the site in the ordinary way and there is nothing here to trip over. What is not welcome is anything that tries to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or tamper with the games or the pages around them, and anything that would use the site to harm other people or the service itself. This is common sense written down rather than a trap; play the games as intended and none of it applies to you.
05Who owns what
The pixelpolku name, the artwork, the page designs and the code around the games belong to pixelpolku or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by the usual laws. The games themselves are the work of their own makers, provided here to play rather than to take apart. You are welcome to enjoy all of it; you may not copy, redistribute or build derivative works from it without permission.
06Offered as-is
The site is provided as it stands and as it happens to be available. We do not promise that it will always be up, always be quick or always be free of the odd glitch, and game outcomes are produced at random for entertainment rather than to any guaranteed pattern. Sometimes a game will not load and a refresh will fix it; sometimes the site will be down for a while. That is the nature of a small free thing, and it is offered on that understanding.
07Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, pixelpolku is not liable for any indirect or incidental loss that comes out of using a free entertainment site. Since no money changes hands anywhere on it, there is no financial loss to be had from playing, and nothing you could be charged for going wrong. Your remedy, if the site is not to your liking, is to stop using it, which costs you nothing.
08Changes and availability
We may add, change, pause or remove games and features whenever it makes sense to, and we may update these terms in the same way. When the terms change, the current version is always the one shown on this page, so this is the place to check rather than any copy kept elsewhere.
